Curriculum
The purpose of Worldaware is to cultivate the understanding of global perspectives and of international development. In schools and colleges, as ever, this is significantly a matter of institutional values, ethos and management style. It must also be evident in the taught curriculum, through and in different subjects areas. Worldaware's learning resources have mainly provided for primary and secondary school geography. The 'new agenda' has strengthened the requirements on sustainable development and active global citizenship. New projects and publications will reflect the opportunities presented to engage young people in and for the twenty-first century.
