This section explores how HIV and AIDS is represented in the media around the world, and the grounding this has in fact. The section specifically looks at newspaper headlines and their accuracy when compared to the figures available on HIV and AIDS. Whilst newspaper headlines have been chosen here, discussions can extend to views acquired through other sources, for example soap operas, television reports, magazines.
