The right to health care
This section explores the different viewpoints that there are surrounding the issues of medicines and right to access, through the example of anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs). An appropriate introduction to the page could be taken from 'Young People at Risk' which discusses HIV and AIDS, and the impact on families.
A game similar to 'Who am I?' could be played for activity one. One by one, six students take on the roles of the six people represented. They read out the lines, pausing after each sentence for the rest of the class to guess who they are from the options given.
For additional help for activity two download a help sheet in MS word format. No suggestions are made for the guests on the show, but it works best when the guests have differing viewpoints. Depending on the size and set up of the class, you can decide whether or not to have an audience in the TV programme and how much interaction there would be.
