Malawi

Hi. We’re Caroline Moyo and Joyce Chisale. We’ve both grown up at the SOS Children’s Village in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Malawi is known as ‘the warm heart of Africa’. That’s partly because it’s in central Africa, but mostly, the saying reflects the friendliness and hospitality of the Malawi people. Click on the map to ‘visit’ our wonderful country!

Kenya

I’m Victor and Kenya is my homeland; it is one of the most visited African countries, due to its safari parks and range of wildlife.

While there is a lot of wonder and beauty there is also a lot of suffering. Here in Kenya we have one of the largest slums in the world, Kibera. Many Kenyans face hardships and live in bad conditions with poor sanitation.
