Outline
This information should be included in your project outline:
- How long have you been in business?
- What resources (for example: labour, materials, machinery, accomodation,
money) have you commited to the business?
What proportions are obtained locally?
- What are the main characteristics of your business from a development
viewpoint? For example:
- conservation of natural resources
- social development
- economic development
- education and training
- improvement of infrastructure, for example: transport, communications,
community services
- What did you hope to achieve when you started the business?
- How far do you think you have come in achieving your short and
long term goals?
- Does the business have a finite lifespan?
- Are you able to supply a business plan and description of your
business that shows how your organisation works and will expand?
- Can you supply accounts (preferably audited) that demonstrate
the business’ sources of income?
- What are your future plans? Have you considered how to ensure
the continuation of the business should you wish to withdraw?
- What is the degree of staff involvement and training?
- What are the demonstrable outcomes of your project for your
organisation and for the community?
