Information which should be included in your project outline

(You may wish to include your Business Plan with this entry)

  1. How long have you been in business?
  2. What resources (for example: labour, materials, machinery, accommodation, money) have you committed to the business? What proportions are obtained locally?
  3. What are the main characteristics of your business from a development viewpoint? For example:
    • conservation of natural resources
    • social development
    • economic development
    • education and training
    • improvement of infrastructure, for example: transport, communications, community services.
  4. What did you hope to achieve when you started the business?
  5. How far do you think you have come in achieving your short and long-term goals?
  6. Are you able to supply a description of your business that shows how your organisation works and will expand?
  7. Can you supply accounts (preferably audited) that demonstrate the business’s sources of income?
  8. What are your future plans? Have you considered how to ensure the continuation of the business should you wish to withdraw?
  9. What is the degree of staff involvement and training?
  10. What are the demonstrable outcomes of your project for your organisation and the community?
  11. Please give information on how your project meets the criteria.
